"From the age of 5-25, my athletic background had been gymnastics, dance and cheerleading. After “retiring”, I dabbled in a variety of workouts and physical activity but always found myself bored and unable to stick to a routine."

After relocating to Charlotte from Rochester, NY I stumbled upon a yoga studio and decided to try a hot vinyasa flow class on a whim. Assuming that yoga wasn’t much of a work out, I was amazed at the physical challenge. Intrigued and humbled, I began practicing regularly and soon found myself researching anything and everything about yoga in my spare time. I felt like I was finally home and so grateful that yoga found me.

Gradually, I noticed something deeper happening beyond the physicality. As my practice and understanding of yoga grew, I developed a strong desire to teach and share my passion with others. In May 2014, I completed my 200 Hour RYT certification through Y2 Yoga led by Tanner Bazemore and Johnna Smith. My teaching style is dynamic, creative, playful, and challenging. I mostly teach open-level Vinyasa Flow classes to fun music. I offer lots of assists, modifications and variations suitable for beginners through advanced practitioners.
